Translating is our passion
We’ve been working with clients for over 25 years and continue to develop our range of services depending on client requirements.
We understand that some documents for translation need industry-specific knowledge and as such you need a professional translator for the relevant language pair who also has a deep understanding of the industry-specific terminology for such areas as:
- Marketing and Advertising
- HR and Training
- Legal and Finance
- Website and localisation
- Pharmaceutical and Medical
So this means that if you want your financial reports translated then we use a translator with an accounting background while a legal document would be translated by someone who has passed legal qualifications.
All our translations are reviewed by a second linguist to ensure that the first translator hasn’t missed something – it happens – we’re human.
And on top of this the project management is included in the fixed price quote we will give you, so you’ll know exactly how much it’s going to cost before you start. No surprises, no extra costs.
Wordfish Translations is a certified translation provider accredited by the Association of Translation Companies (Home Office approved). The ATC Code of Conduct is strictly adhered to.
Documents that need certifying include:
- Birth certificates
- Marriage certificates
- Death certificates
- Divorce certificates
- Academic transcripts
- Witness statements and police certificates
- Employment contracts
- Deeds of ownership
- Insurance documents
As well as being an inherent part of our translation service, we offer proofreading as a stand-alone product. Your company image is as good as the words you put out on the web, your mailshots, even your business cards.
Of course we provide proofreading of foreign texts, but remember you can also make mistakes in your native language.
Call us for a quote to pass our objective eyes over all your words before you release them to the world.
Another branch of translation is oral translation – otherwise known as interpreting and we have links with interpreters of various languages and specialisms. Call us to discuss your requirements.
The nature of our business means that we currently translate more European languages than anything else but we do have translators available for all world business languages. Our network of translators and reviewers have been individually assessed and because we’re a small agency we can hand-pick the right translator for your project.
But it doesn’t stop there, when we work regularly with a client we continue to check the translators on an ad hoc basis throughout the whole working relationship. We want you to be very happy with our service. Some of the translators we work with have been involved in our projects for over 15 years building trusting relationships which help us to deliver our clients’ messages in whatever language required.
