LEGAL AND FINANCE
Translating is our passion
Two very specialised translation areas, legal translation is often done by translators who have a degree in Law or have worked as legal assistants. Through our network of translators we can provide legal translations covering a raft of assignments. We work with solicitors, lawyers, individuals and companies on legal documents and all our translators understand that there is no margin for error in a legal translation. Any mistake could lead to serious consequences.
Every legal translator we employ translates only into their mother tongue.
Legal documents we translate include:
- articles of association
- company memoranda
- court documents (judgements, witness statements, etc)
- certificates (birth, marriage, death, divorce, police checks, degree certificates, etc)
- contracts
- financial documents (annual reports, statutory accounts)
- wills
As a member of the Association of Translations Companies (atc.org.uk) we can certify translations, attesting that the translation is accurate. The translation is stamped and we certify that it is a true translation.
Financial translation is again often carried out by translators who have worked previously as accountants or consultants in the Big 5 accountancy firms. Translations have to be precise, unambiguous in content and clear in presentation.
We understand and work within the tight deadlines often imposed by financial institutions.
